De Stijl is based on the name plate of the DE STIJL magazine designed by Theo van Doesburg in 1923. Only the letters for DESTYL are shown, so the rest of the letters were interpreted.

You might notice that the D looks slightly different than that on the original DESTIJL nameplate. I had to differentiate it from the O a bit. So if you want to match the original D, you could just use the O.

No, I am not Dutch, however I did include the IJ ligature. Of course, you can just use the Y if you can not access the IJ.

DE STIJL magazine was designed by Theo van Doesburg, but the name plate is actually a design by Vilmos Huszár, from 1916. The version by van Doesburg is from 1917, not 1923 ;-) But besides the historical complaints, I really like your expansion of the character set :-)
