As I know, the design related with sports changed a lot from the old-school look. Nowdays, sport magazines, TV channels, commercials for example, have very smooth and modern style. I wanted to create a FontStruction, that fully describes this style. Enjoy.

This is my pick from the Sports Challenge crop. (Sorry, I didn't vote/comment on it earlier, so as not to influence the jury.) To me, Mionta perfectly captures the excitement and the adrenaline rush of extreme sports, such as downhill rollerblading, mountain biking, indoor climbing, surfing, or skydiving. Great demo pic. 10/10
