And while it might _seem_ unimpressive, but think about it this way: how many pairs of eyes saw that font back when Super Mario World was a hit years ago?
I know (and quite apparently) you appreciate fonts from games a while ago, and have quite the font collection to prove it. This font was inspired by the fonts that you've made from these old games. When I saw all of the fonts you've made, I realized that I would have to make one from one of _my_ favorite games. So I did.
And thanks
oh well
"I've been wanting to have a [particular] font for a while, but I didn't think I would be the one that made it."
WOW. In that one sentence, you've just summed up the genius of FontStruct, especially for those of us who are not professional -- or even amatuer -- typographers! I, too, have felt that same way SO MANY TIMES while making fonts here from my own personal wish-list.
I think FontStruct has a new motto/testimonial here...
thanks!
I did the same thing too https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1502669/super-mario-world-text-box
