Pencil shaped letters. That edgy transition of color should be a gradient, but it works for now. A ColorComp submission.

Cute idea. I would consider either the bare wood tad bit darker or thin black outline to it

Comment by Peter (Petruuccio) 21st may 2025

Must be some flexible pencils cause I tried to make letters with pencils, and they broke everywhere…

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) 21st may 2025

These are fontstruct pencils 😅

@Peter: I got 7 layers and I can probably add one for the metallic ring, or maybe use the black

Comment by kassymkulov 21st may 2025

An excellent entry and a fun use of colors~

Beautiful work! Have you tried slightly rounded corners on the eraser?

Comment by four 28th may 2025

@four Yeah, I did, but then I took the lazy path :) I should probably round it for a more natural effect though, you're right.

i wonder if you could do something where the yellow and brown collided, where you could put a thin orange line in between

Comment by digitalio-2 17th june 2025

Nice Font! What Does KD Stand For?

Comment by OliverAntonio 18th june 2025

Thanks, everyone! Once I saw the banner for the winners announcement post I had a feeling something's going on :)

@7V80Y LCP (digitalio-2) Hmm, well that's not quite possible in some parts, only maybe outside of FS.
