This rules. It tricks my eyes so they don't know if they're looking at 2D shapes or 3D ones.
Interesting transition. I really like how you've resolved the slanted "borders" between the darkest inner part and the outer part (both sides of the A, e.g.). Is a font to see at big size. And curious deformed samples too.

those samples i made (after finishing the core set of letters) by playing with filters in Inkscape. but it is almost a year ago and i don't remember anymore which ones i used. :)
