this is a crude version of the sindarin alphabet
note that capital letters like S Z R Y N L H U W change to form the sindarin letters: (the upside down s), (upside down z), (lesser r), (the consonant y), (the abbreviated n), (the double L, however must be used like "lL" to be doubled), (h = silent h, H = "th"), (the overcharacter U "abbreviated"), (W = wh, w = normal u).
Q is special. being a letter never used it has the value of "the" = q, "and" = Q. (tho i might have it backwards... ;) )
all other characters in the upper case double, **do not use like normal letters** T is tt. ect. this includes b d f g j k m p r t v x. Realize that in sindarin there are no capital letters and most letters wont ever double. the most frequent being LL "mellon".

There is no such thing as Sindarin alphabet. Sindarin is a fictional language invented by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is not a writing system. Tolkien created an artificial script, tengwar, to write a number of languages of Middle-Earth, including Sindarin. What you are dealing with is the tengwar alphabet, or tengwar script.
In addition to Sindarin, tengwar is used to write the other elven tongue, Quenya. It is also adapted to write a few spoken languages, such as Welsh, English, French, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Italian, Scottish Gaelic, and Spanish.
Since the Sindarin language is loosely based on Welsh, one could use the Latin script to write Sindarin, perhaps with a few diacritical marks added.
