This is a much revised and extended version of OIL Stencil. Many glyphs have been refined or completely replaced, thanks to the new features of fontstruct. Extended Latin set, and Cyrillic alphabet has been added. I didn't like the original font name anymore and changed it to something politically neutral. Eriador: a large region in the northwest of Middle Earth.
@FS Staff: The original OIL Stencil has been awarded the TP already.
I OVE this, but you can extend this.
I love these 'chunks'. The cut corners make it look less forbidding. :)
@Frodo I know versions and revisions haven't historically been top-picked but this is a real advance on the original and I'm a real fan of people going back and reworking their designs.
@Rob Meek: Thank you very much for the special mention. Made me happy all day. This is a good time to revisit old works. The new features of FS - nudging by fine increments, and enhanced composites, in particular - made angles and width to be set with a precision previously undreamed of. Thank you.
chla
It actually looks stenciled, Great Job. Most "stencles' just look like letters with a gap in the middle, but yours doesn't.
