Here's my version of 5Natura, with a bit of tweaking. :)
Nice variant! I might use your 4, &, and @. And that "Q" is exquisite!
Yeah, this is one of your better ideas, font-wise. I'll probably expand it. :)
If you'll notice, I cleaned up the intersection of the curves on B, K, X, 3, k, x, et cetera. The lowercase all have the same curves now. And, thanks, and go ahead. :) I like what you did with the tilde—it's better than mine, at the moment.
Your capital thorn needs some work. I might use your acute and grave. and your currency sign. I changed the "g" in 5Natura to double story, but it's a bit different than the one you used here.
Also your sharp s and o with stroke look a lot better than mine.
This is a good example of the collaborative side of FS :)
Yeah, Thorn has always looked odd to me the way it is. It tends to look unbalanced in comparison with the rest of the letters, so this was another design I came up with for it. I have this design as an alternate in Tehuti, which flows better with the text than the typically designed Thorn does. This is also why I have different designs for Phi and Psi than most—mine are based on the older, original designs, as is Esh. And, go for it. Thanks. I played around quite a bit with the sharp s, which I kind of like now. I think I'll make the angled stroke thinner for the Os, though. I agree, I like massing ideas together.
I'll have to check out those letters in Tehuti sometime, I'm afraid I don't speak anything but English (and a bit of Spanish, taking a class this year) so I don't really use much more than Basic Latin.
As for the o with stroke, I wanted to make the stroke thinner as well, but the composites I used I just couldnt really make them work. Maybe you can come up with a good looking design for them, IDK. Good luck :)
Guess I should expand the character set on mine too. I might add Cyrillics, since they're pretty similar to latin, and not too curvy like Greek so they shouldn't be too hard.
I've drastically updated this font, changed its name (numbers don't work well in font names), and gave it a better harmony overall. I did not do this with fontstruct, by the way. You can get the new version on Font Library. :)
Really like what you did with this, after all these years. I've been doing some work on Natura as well recently.
Nice. I've recently updated all of my fonts, which are now on Font Squirrel.
P.S. I'm still waiting for the updtaed version of Dihjauti to be put up. The current versions have different Qs. I decided that I liked the Electra-styled Q better than the Baskerville-ish one that it has now.
