A font inspired by chess. I guess it isn't a very original idea, so I hope it's not too similar to something someone else has already done. I'm not sure whether this is what would be called a minimal font; surely, using a grid with no more than 8 squares in a row was quite refreshing after the gigantic curves of Kyubegan. I was unsure whether the letters should connect to each other, but it looked a bit too confusing, so I settled on a short distance, though maybe the other way would be more characteristic; the same applies to having the lowercase letters use inverted colours. I'm also thinking of doing some improved versions, with a 3D effect for example. But I guess I should focus on finishing the characters first... improvement is definitely needed.
