There is definitely something good happening, although I'm just not sure you are 100% there yet.
C & D are what grabbed my attention. They remind me of picture frames. They are also the only two that seem to work, along with L.
I,K & T appear to be a separate font.
P,R,S,Z also could be a different font.
I would suggest trying to unify the glyphs in a more comprehensive construction.
