Ah... there's a problem here. The bugs resemble letters, right? And that in itself is not a problem. It's great, very imaginative... but it doesn't qualify for the IlluComp!

"Why," you ask. "Why doesn't it work?! It's a perfectly fine, imaginative font!" Well, it is a perfectly imaginative font, but... the problem is, the bugs make letters! You aren't supposed to have glyphs that resemble letters. From the description of the competition:

"Competition entries can be icon fonts, pictogram fonts for a particular purpose, or simply a series of illustrations, built as a FontStruction. Most importantly, no letters from real or imaginary writing systems should be included. Alternative forms of symbolic notation such as musical notation, braille or morse code will also not qualify."

So, sorry. It's a great font, and you get a 10/10 from me, but it won't make it into the competition. Sorry...

One rule in illustration competition is no letter allowed

and anyway, its quite awesome works! i can read these! and i can see flies anywhere!
