A 3x3 microfont I have been working on for a while on my own-- only found this site today, made it easy for me to make it an actual font (instead of just a bmp file which I copy/pasted from!) The only difficult to interpret part, imo, is a couple of the numbers (2 and 5, especially) and a few of the punctuation marks (; and ! might be tough for some users). Other than that though, pretty legible and amazing for steganography, computer reading, or whatever else you want to use it for. If you like it or use it, let me know!

Still a lot of anomalies & duplicates (in this pseudo 'font' - an incomplete ASCII set, I mean). I guess you can improve it a bit (though adding the lower case letters will be a lot more challenging - and useful).
