ELEKTRON AR-LCD 2_5×8 - Re-creation of the 6×6 dot matrix font that is used in the "Winstar WG12232A" 122×32 graphic LCD display module on the "Analog Rytm" drum machine by Elektron

====================================================

I used filters to mimic the original module's dot size and dot pitch:

Horizontal brick size: 0,89
Vertical brick size: 0,91
Horizontal grid scale: 0,8
Vertical grid scale: 0,94

====================================================

This is just one of the fonts that is used in the "Analog Rytm", there is number of different font size and designs used throughout the device's OS. Used together to create clear hierarchy and structure in the individual components.

The other fonts:
ELEKTRON AR-LCD 1_6×6
ELEKTRON AR-LCD 3_6×6

Enjoy

The Downside to this whole project of providing all these fonts is that I have no means of varifying the completion of the individual character sets. I don't know where or how to see a full character maps for eacht font present in the device (I doubt they are all complete alpabets), Nor do I have any knowledge about how LCD display modules work and handle fonts. If it is running from the Elektron device OS or directly from Winstar WG12232A graphic LCD display module.

So each font re-creation was gathered bit by bit on the run while I used the device

It's a bit confusing too, as I cant tell for some fonts if it is in fact just one font or multiple, since some fonts at one point seem identical except for maybe one or two characters being slightly different, or only differ by their exclamation marks for example. Or for all I know some of these are in fact not (near) identical fonts but rather multiple fonts combined instead, with for example punctuation marks lend from another internal font. Nor do I know if these fonts share the same format with PC yes/no, or wether they support Unicode or not...

I simply don't know and lack sufficient technical knowledge!
