I love how you keep applying small variations to fonts to build large families. I wonder if this family will have a version using real circles and curves.
Well, I must admit I have a bit of an issue with trying to mimic via Fontstruct smooth Bézier curves. In the past (once), I tried to make a smooth, clean font, but later I deleted it and didn't try again. I don't feel like making all those complicated overlappings, etc. Regards to all who do it with a high degree of virtuosity! I am rather interested in what one can achieve within the grid while abandoning smooth outlines. Thus I don't expect real circles and curves will ever appear in any of my Fontstructions. :)
I am not great with large grids either. I admire those who are. I actually meant circular and other curved bricks. I think they could work well for this particular family.
i wary of the curved bricks. i feel if i will use them, soon i might get trapped — unable to make some variations. but i will think of what you said! in any case, i am mainly looking forward to colors! :)
thanks, Rob!
