MEEK!

Were you inspired by https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1395850/strict-2 ? We all get inspired everywhere! Her and your fonts are so different! Wrongful accusations can destroy people.

@Brynda - Unless you are making a joke, it appears that "Strict" was started 18 days ago and last edited 13 days before you even started "Dažado Sans" (?!?!?)...

This is not an original style of letterforms in the first place.

@Aeolien I can still have ideas for a font before I even make them...

@Goatmeal Atleast I still used 2x2 filters.

@Umbreon126 At least I still thought of the accents.

Brynda, like we all. Idea or inspiration, planning, paper doodles, setting rules, brickwork, adapting, testing, publishing. But limited brick types/glyph sizes produce 'similar' fonts, there are many pixel fonts up to 6x6, published over the years. Most are original creations. If someone doesn't know you it's best to joke or comment in kind patient ways to avoid upsetting or hurting people which can stop them learning and growing and even taking part here - specially if they work rarely (for unknown reasons) they might welcome appreciation, encouragement and support to continue.

Regarding the work you did on your font: we all have visions for our creation, what the font is supposed to achieve, who might be interested to use it. There is no "correct font design" (a '2' can have many different looks ;)and still function as the number 2 in a text). I don't add diacritics if I expect my font to be used by anglophones only -- or if I lack the time to finish a font within a reasonable time frame (and, no, I don't always state 'WIP' specially if I would like to get feedback before proceeding). We all are our own creative person and should be accepted as such in our international group of FontStructors of many different ages and backgrounds.

I actually like the look of Dažado Sans, I would use its UC to replace the UC of 'Calibri' which is on my PC.

Diacritic symbols give the font a special charm. Feels the spirit of Japan and I like it.

'Ancestors stole all our best ideas'. It was said by Mark Twain and Frederick Gaudi.
