In an age of ever decreasing privacy the need for modern encryption methods gets amplified. CODR works as two separate encrypted type faces (CODR1 & CODR2) that overlay one another to reveal hidden text.
STEP 1 - Type the text you want to encode in a readable font using only capital letters A-Z and 0-9 (no punctuation, spaces are ok)
STEP 2 - Copy and paste the text into a new doc or artboard to create a duplicate of the text
STEP 3 - Make sure the formatting on each selection is exactly the same. No hyphens, consistent leading, etc.
STEP 4 - Apply CODR1 to the first text selection and double the font size.
STEP 5 - Apply CODR2 to the second text selection and keep the font size as is.
STEP 6 - Export each text as separate .png file with transparency. Do not use .pdf, .doc, etc it will retain font meta data.
STEP 7 - Overlay each image to verify that your decoded message appears.
STEP 8 - Print and/or send each image to your recipient separately. The recipient will need to overlay each image so that the two merge together to create a decoded message. Maybe post one part to a blog site, and transmit the other as the key.
