Somehow the idea for the T popped in my head. Next, I tried to imagine if the same overly bold and fragmented T can be translated to something like an A or S. Therefore, this was just an exercise in trying to fit the basic idea into all characters. Surprisingly, the whole thing came together within minutes. The rest of the time was spent in refinement.

Love it. Classic Ata. Although I think the C,G & E,F could be more in sync with each other.

Oh and 5&6 are very similar. :)
I think 5 would be better with a squared off top left corner.

I agree about 5 6 and even G being very similar. I should have squared off the 5 from the start.

H and M are a little too close for comfort as well. D has J undertones. Etc. this is hardly a functional font. None of my fonts really are.
