  • The grenic runes contain one symbol for each uppercase letter of the alphabet and for the numbers 0 to 9. There are two options for the letter 'e', upper or lowercase to use. They are interchangeable and a pure whim to slow down code breakers who search first for the most frequent symbol to equate to the letter 'e'. Double letters are not used as in normal runic tradition. Numbers are used in the normal way. Grenic runes are especially useful for carving into stone as no rune has any contained space to break out whilst carving.
