  • The idea for the font came from looking at the curves in Wind ornaments. The block like structure of the wood and then the spiral effect. I also looked at Wooden table arrangments that resembled wood shavings, like ribbon curls. I wanted a contiuous theme to run through and link all the glyphs together. So i used the ribbon like structure as the backbone to all the uppercase and then serifs to link the Glyffs to each other. There is also a suggestion of movement in the style, as it is italic. I kept the decorative theme as well, to stay true to the concept behind the idea. This is a display font with a limited and definate purpose.

Cool effect.

A sort of half-origami effect. It made me pause for a moment, because it's so original, simple and well executed. Not over done. Adjust the spacing. 10/10

I also give this a 10 for it's originality and execution ... but agree with Frodo about the spacing.

wicked font. I really like the flatness at the top of each letter compared to the effect going down the side. well done mate!

I really like it! It looks great when it's small and you can't see much of the detail, just looks really interesting. But then when it's larger and you can see the detail it's like Wow! Yeah, think it's really nice! Good job. x
