Nice cursive! But what about the L? Maybe some locomotive could derail there...
@caterpillar's.kimono - To piggyback on @elmoyenique's idea, perhaps having a little serif tail sticking up on the right end of the L? I know that it might break with your design, though...
Or maybe take the halfside of the U to make it.
