I'll say it then - it's totally copied.
This is basically a bolder version of yours by going to Menu > View > Filters and set it to 1.5 in Horizontal and vertical brick size.
So it doesn't appear as a clone, they've cloned yours, then copied and pasted over the letters into a new file.
Unfortunately as nice as it is to learn techniques from cloning, there is always someone who abuses the system and doesn't give any credit to the original designer. We all learn from copying, but please always try to give credit to your influences.
Nice work! This is similar but, in detail, quite different to the referenced FontStruction. It's also a different grid size and does not use filters. No copy and paste here. I'm sure there will be many more similar but different FontStructions of this sub-genre in the Gallery somewhere, now and in the future. Fave!

Wow. That is similar. Dont know if you will believe me, but I had not seen your font prior to making this.
I guess it is bound to happen from time to time when we explore pixel typefaces with similar "set rules"
@jammiedodger: Scroll to the top of the page. In the top left corner of the font preview, there is a heart icon that says "ADD FAVE" Click that button to add as a favorite.
