hey fellas. let me introduce my personal CROSSOVER of "arial" and "times new roman", two of the most famous fonts of western typefaces. nicely presented in a scetchy pencil drawn quickie style :) it's just lower case yet, but i wanted to share it. upper case, numerals and symbols to come. really :) this is especially tasty in small pixel sizes! thanks for attention! try it... *UNDER FONSTRUCTION*

This is my first FontStruction while currently studying graphic design at Bristol UWE. Lots of experimentation solely using paints; quick hand movements and flicks to produce a messy, unrefined effect. Working in less than 1 second for each letter (with real paints), used as reference. Inspired by East Asian calligraphy.

My final entry in the competition. Inspired by Mazey, zlabyrinths eYe/FS, and wavelength. Each glyph has its own maze, and each maze connects with the next. Tilde ~ and low line _ connect words, grave ` closes beginnings and ends, and the left and right arrows < > are for the start and end. There are also some alternates in Extended Latin A. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks!

04/06/14 The whole font has been updated to be one brick taller, and thus properly fit onto a grid. Also, some characters have been redesigned. V2.0
05/13/14 All punctuation has been modified to continue a word maze. V2.1
07/05/14 1000 downloads! Hooray! As a 'thank you', I've completed more of More Latin. V2.2
08/22/14 I've made the accents part of the maze. I've also changed a few characters, and added Œ and œ. V2.3
08/04/15 Added Polish support with Ą, Ć, Ę, Ł, Ń, Ś, Ź, and Ż. Tweaked a few characters as well, and added a crossbar to the ð. V2.4

06/18/16 Added support for multiple languages with more Cyrillic chars and punctuation. Also tweaked a few chars.

The letters can easily be made more legible. But it gets to be FUN & a-MAZE-d. Every letter/word has a solution. 4 types of spaces: space bar, @, #, %. Try it.

I produced this for my "communicating with words" first year module on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design course at UWE Bristol, England. It pays homage to Ralph Steadman and is a true testament to what you can do on fontstruct, if you’re willing to spend a week in front of a computer in your underpants. A medieval pixel font created for use in the graphic adventure game "Quest For Infamy" by Infamous Quests, (C) 2012-2014. Designed for fantasy / RPG-style video games. Uppercase letters inspired by: various German Blackletter, Old English, and Uncial typefaces; "Deutsch Gothic" by James Fordyce; "1454 Gutenberg Bibel" by John H. Schmidt; "Goudy Medieval" by Mentor Type; "Black Castle MF" by Rick W. Mueller; "Two For Juan" by Nick's Fonts; and Exidy's video arcade game "Venture" (1981). Numerals inspired by various Old English and Gothic typefaces.

A monospaced pixel font with over 8000 glyphs! 7 pixels wide, 12 pixels tall. Some characters may be wider than 7 pixels to make them connect with other characters.

LevelRebel is a monospaced, 48-brick high, birds-eye view, horizontally layered, isometric pixelfont. The uppercase faces to the left and the lower case faces to the right. It could work as a font for a game with a retro 3d feel and something about mastering levels, climbing storeys, stacking towers or sliding bricks or bars.

A faithful recreation of the DOS / IBM PC System Font. Monospaced with very short descenders and thick font weight for better readability on low fidelity CRT displays. Makes me want to optimize AUTOEXEC.BATs all over again. Including original "More Latin" characters and custom made "Extended Latin A" characters for good international compatibility.

This font was inspired by the works of Christophe Szpajdel (Lord of the Logos, 2010, Die Gestalten Verlag), as well as by the film trilogy and the following game titles (e.g. Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, 2014) based on Tolkien's epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings. Given the game theme, and the 48 bricks vertical limit, I thought more or less around pixel art, or pixel fonts. This is my endeavour to make a spiky blackletter in Szpajdel's black metal style that evokes the terror of Mordor at pixel level. This font has been extensively tested for best kerning, yet some issues might have remained unresolved.

This my recreation of my own handwriting fontstructed with a vertical line/stripe pattern (I know it's bad calligraphy, but don't tell Claude Dieterich I did it, please).
I used a fountain pen 1.1mm stroke to get my samples written down in order to have a basis.
My UC leans slightly to the left and my lc to the right; must be the graffiti influence from way back in the day. No wonder I only type nowadays...

Little experimental graffiti-style-font. Begin every word with an upper case letter, then write on with lower case letters. Use ) to end words, and add an asterik for some additional style... hope all ya graffiti bros out there like it!;)

One of my old designs brought up-to-date with FS 2.0 I have changed the name from 'RM Albion Too' to 'RM New Albion' because, whilst I liked the word play of the former, I thought it was a tad trite (and a bit Anglo-centric).

A pixel-city. That means it is a pixelated city. A city that is made of pixels. PIXELS, not bricks. It appears as a clone because that's where it started but every character is built from scratch. kix' brilliant original is an understatement of perfection, using the least amount of bricks for such a grand effect. However, it left not much space inside for any kind of meaningful rendering. Had to quadruple each glyph in order to get enough brick space inside to get some effect going. In the process I came to appreciate the true brilliance of the design and the awesomeness of certain characters. G, for instance.
I have scaled everything up, but have not taken any liberties with the shapes—they are true to the original. If a certain glyph is off, it is due to my ineffective eye and not borne out of a desire to change the original. (Point it out, and I'll correct it). Hope you like it.

I live in the third-world; it is summer (well, it is here). Consequently, unannounced power outages 2, 5, 8 times a day are standard operating procedure. While/when we have power, my ISP may not. Consequently, unannounced internet outages 3, 4, 7 times a day are standard operating procedure. Out of 24 hours, I get 3, 4 hours of internet access on a good day. Everything everywhere is UPS'd up the wazoo. Still, UPSes need power to recharge. I never know when the computer might shut down or lose the internet connection. Consequently, I have become a master S-pusher. Sorry for the server load, admins. :-)This is a clone
