With 12x12 pixels at size 6/8 font, the new brick filter options are on display in Zodiac Square. To ensure a square font, any accented glyphs from Mandrill (my monospaced, lanky, much-of-unicode font) that went above a capital A's peak were cut, but many lower-case accented glyphs stayed in. Since this is meant for a text-heavy game genre where legibility at small size is important, all of Latin Extended Additional was cut -- it was just too hard to read at small sizes, and I doubt it would be very useful in a roguelike or similar text-based game that needs square glyphs. This looks pretty good with anti-aliasing, but the preview may be funny because it uses the old 2x2 filter as well as the new horizontal stretch filter. It's called Zodiac Square because of the 12x12 pixels, 12 signs of the Zodiac.
This is a clone of MandrillEach letter is made of 7 possible lines (a square with a cross). Sentances form bands, as if cut into a wooden stick or pole. Feel free to use for your conlags (just don't forget to mention me)! It has both English and Russian scripts (matched by sound). Used math to create: this script used minimum amount of lines per letter while making all have equal amount in total, so letters have 5 lines and numbers have 3, punctuation has 2. You can create your own efficient script by using a combination of "5 out of 7" letter parts. Sinmilar to my "Hex Seven" script.
universally usable square script of a maximum of six lines, developed as a curve-less blind-handwriting (universell nutzbare Quadratschrift aus maximal sechs Linien, entwickelt als kurvenlose Blinden-Schreibschrift), by Alexander Fakoó www.fakoo.de/quadoo
This is a clone of Quadoo thinA design that looks like a top-down view of ziggurats!
I composited the diacritics so they'd fit into place, but this means that most anything non-English needs to be pretty large to be unambiguously read...
From the vault of unpublished doodles, a permutation of earlier ideas.

This is an enhanced version of the retro font you see on old games. Still WIP. The squares are just placeholders and will be removed shortly. I hope to make this have more characters than any other fonts in the future (this might take a while). This font can be used in retro-style games, computer graphics, or anything else you can imagine. This font is pixelated, meaning it is lightweight and easy to port to many devices.
This is a clone of Ndless Default FontI keep experimenting with crosses to make a 'Christian' font. This is my third or fourth attempt. The letters are nicely shaped but they don't seem bold enough. Make them bolder and they would have all sorts of interesting irregularities. I also might try serifs. I like the serifs on the 'I'.
Update: New regular weight companion font available here -> Future Terminal Nova Regular
As seen on SiivaGunner's Jet Set Radio Evolution event! Credit isn't required, but is always appreciated!
(Complete basic latin set). First iteration of a font meant to be used as a substitution cypher in a videogame set in a very far future. Letters are, with a few exceptions, inspired by their corresponding latin glyph. Numbers look a bit like cells dividing in a petri dish. Punctuation and symbols are designed for easy recognition.

Recreation of the monospaced version of the pixel font from Square/Nintendo's "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars" (1996) on the SNES.
The original font uses antialiasing (particularly noticeable in the "M" and "W"). This has been normalised for this recreation.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

Original size: 6.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Design Rules:
1. Square bricks only.
2. A 1px soft border of negative space must exist between lines whenever possible.
3. Glyphs must fill the 9x9 grid to the greatest extent possible given the rounded style.
4. The set of glyphs shall be a heterogeneous mix of symmetrical and asymmetrical forms.
5. Negative space will replace positive in any situation wherein the small grid size or the geometry of a letterform would be detrimental to the chosen style. This includes all situations where any shape lacks at least a soft 1px border of negative space around it.
