This is an objectively better version of my NEStyle font.
Not finished. Will add more glyphs soon. Some inconsistencies may be fixed. More versions of this font will be created.
Also, am I the only one who gets lagged out a ton when I scroll down the "All letters" list?
Here it is!
Letters and Numerals 1-9 completely redone, B R 3 & 8 have smoother indent curves; Symbol characters repositioned as follows:
DVD Buttons: ‹ › « »
Frame Tiles: Box Drawing
Black Dice 1-9: à á â ã ä å æ ç è
White Dice 1-9: Mathematical operators
Square Numerals 1-30: Capital À to Œ in More Latin
Round Numerals 10-30: Lowercase é to œ
EXTRA CHARACTERS UNACCESSIBLE VIA MAC
Square and Round Numerals 31-100: Latin extended A, B and additional
Black and White Dice 10-16: extra characters in Latin extended
Wide Letter Blocks: Greek letters and Latin Extended B
Original Fullwidth numerals: Roman Numerals
Latin block is traced from Linux stock VGA8 font. Designed to fit 8x8 grid including spacing, so most symbols are 7x7 =WARNING= Line spacing is stuck and cannot be edited within FontStruct, you can edit it manually, see http://designwithfontforge.com/en-US/Line_Spacing.html for example.
This is an enhanced version of the retro font you see on old games. Still WIP. The squares are just placeholders and will be removed shortly. I hope to make this have more characters than any other fonts in the future (this might take a while). This font can be used in retro-style games, computer graphics, or anything else you can imagine. This font is pixelated, meaning it is lightweight and easy to port to many devices.
This is a clone of Ndless Default FontWith 12x12 pixels at size 6/8 font, the new brick filter options are on display in Zodiac Square. To ensure a square font, any accented glyphs from Mandrill (my monospaced, lanky, much-of-unicode font) that went above a capital A's peak were cut, but many lower-case accented glyphs stayed in. Since this is meant for a text-heavy game genre where legibility at small size is important, all of Latin Extended Additional was cut -- it was just too hard to read at small sizes, and I doubt it would be very useful in a roguelike or similar text-based game that needs square glyphs. This looks pretty good with anti-aliasing, but the preview may be funny because it uses the old 2x2 filter as well as the new horizontal stretch filter. It's called Zodiac Square because of the 12x12 pixels, 12 signs of the Zodiac.
This is a clone of MandrillA square monospace font, inspired by Slatewire (a previous project of mine), Agency FB, and Terminus. This font includes the full Latin and More Latin character sets, as well as Latin Extended A, most of Latin Extended B, and the basic Greek alphabet.
Experimental 24-segment display or massive monochrome Mondrian matrix. Pixel compatible!
The thinking behind this one was that with incongruously sized segments arranged in the proper way, I would create a design which was effectively 5x5, but which accomodated more glyphs than 5x5 usually does. Negative space is incorporated into the structure of many glyphs, though not enough to classify this as an IVO design.
"Qualtron" is the name of an imaginary entity that a friend believed in - a being meant to represent the result of "a mathematical equation that can rule the universe". I didn't inquire further about it... :D
*
Design Rules:
1. Segments can have interior length/width of 2 or 5.
2. The central 2x2 square must always remain open.
3. Square bricks and 90-degree angles only.
*
Original size: 20.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Constructed script for a conlang (5x5 version). Katakana keyboard setting required to use.
人工文字は人工言語を為(5x5バージョン)。カタカナキーボード設定は所要に使う。
Pretty much abandoned currently. Do with whatever you will.
Just please give credit, lest the effort go in vein.
A multi-line design which is slightly reminescent of mazes/fingerprints. It's not designed to create functional mazes, but it is somewhat capable!
"Absinthelyric Print" is an anagram for "Labyrinthine Script".
*
Original size: 11.25pt. Use multiples of this value for pixel perfection. (If you use antialiasing, it will look perfect at most any size.)
*
Design rules:
1. Square bricks and 90-degree angles only.
2. Alphabetic glyphs must have open terminals; numerals and symbols must have closed terminals. Letters which do not terminate (D,O, etc.) must be broken so that they terminate.
3. Glyphs must fill the 15x15 grid.
4. Ligatures and combinatorial glyphs must fit into one letter's space.
5. Draw from the outside in.
