Who says Christmas only comes once a year? Here's a second style of Ugly Sweater, this time just like Grandma used to make! Please respect the license - if you would like to use this font for commercial projects, please contact Alexander@Kominek.ca
This is a clone of Ugly SweaterThis typeface was designed with the adjective 'Massive' in mind. I then chose to focus on trees, particulary the tree bark, to see how it is structured. I collected bits of bark from trees to see how bark can vary in its texture, such as, the 3D features and the visible cracks. This typeface could be used as a large title in posters, banners or headings for leaflets, possibly for environmental awareness campaigns.
This is a cloneThe theme for my typeface is rebirth, specifically within nature. Upon research I found myself really interested in natures patterns formed through rebirth, be it shown through roots or a plant shooting out into light. I wanted to recreate an abstract version of this through my typeface, to give the illusion of growth.
This typeface was created with a ‘Protect’ theme and I’ve chosen nature, what we see everyday. I made a mind map about nature and focused on trees, because lots of trees were cut down illegally. My main intention was to remind people about this interference. I sketched a various style to resembles the human interference to trees. Every alphabet has their own human interfere with a little bit sense of Serif, because what I see from trees are elegant and strong.
