Recreation of the font used in Capcom's "Ghouls 'n Ghosts" (1988). As some of the characters used a subtle amount of antialiasing in the game, this is a slightly reinterpreted version that contains some artistic liberty, particularly in the special characters. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included. Note the heart, which has been mapped to "heavy black heart" (U+2764), and the !! "double exclamation mark" (U+203C).
Recreation of the pixel font from Konami's "Haunted Castle" (aka "Akumajō Dracula", 1988) - the arcade version successor of "Castlevania" (1986) on the NES.
The letters are identical to Konami's "Jail Break" (1986), but the numbers, punctuation marks and special characters are subtly different.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the large pixel font from Taito's "Darius" (1987), also reused in "Darius II" (1989).
In the tile set for "Darius", the "$" was missing a few pixels - this was addressed in "Darius II", and this recreation contains the dollar sign from the latter version.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Sprint 2 was the first arcade game released by Atari in 1976 that debuted the 8-bit arcade font that many gamers know and love today. And the Atari Legacy font wishes to carry the torch as it once did back then, especially with new unicodes and glyphs. You can tell it's a font based on the golden days of gaming because of the "E". The unique "E" may seem very familiar for those who played Atari games back in the arcades, and those today who played Atari 50: The Anniversary Collection! The "?" and "!" are even sourced from Atari's Quiz Show, also released in 1976!
This is a clone of Arcade LegacyTaken from the story screens from Capcom's 1989 arcade brawler Final Fight. (Interestingly, this font can also be found in the tile set from the Street Fighter 2 arcade game). Accented letters are completely custom.
Recreation of the primary large pixel font from Psikyo's "Strikers 1945" (1995), which was reused in the sequels "Strikers 1945 II" (1997), "Strikers 1999" (aka "Strikers 1945 III", 1999) and "Strikers 1945 Plus" (Neo-Geo, 1999), as well as other titles like "Gunbird 2" (1998), "Dragon Blaze" (2000) and "Gunbarich" (2001). Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
This is a clone of Samurai Aces (Large)Recreation of one of the pixel fonts from Cave's "DoDonPachi" (1997), reused in later games such as "ESP Ra.De." (1998) and "Progear" (2001). This is a refinement and expansion of one of the pixel fonts from the previous entry in the series, "DonPachi" (1995). Notable differences are the letters "A", "C", "G", "J", "V", "W", "X", "Z", "+" and the addition of a complete lowercase, extra arrows, "*", "<", ">". While in the previous game the font (one of at least 5 present in the game) was only used sparingly, this time around it seems that this font - while present in the game's ROM - was not used at all, which is surprising considering how much more complete it is.

The "Clickwise" language font from Penny Arcade's "Automata" webcomic. Based on Jon Molnar's research: http://www.cogspace.com/clickwise/ Incomplete, because some characters are not yet public. Note that this is a fast and simple hack. It can (and should) be improved. CAPS ONLY, with a period (.) at the ends. | contains a "mold" for characters.

A monospaced version of Barcade Brawl that has been modified to work well as a roguelike font. Not every glyph is centered yet, but all the Basic Latin and More Latin ones are.
A few glyphs (such as #) are modified to break the matrix so that they link together. This is because these glyphs are used to form continuous walls and other structures.
Note also that this design uses a 7x7px matrix which is monospaced at 8px to create 8x7 tiles. I have placed a stray pixel on an unused glyph to make 1px of extra line spacing occur so that the final tiles are 8x8. The preview here onsite adds another px, so it looks slightly out of square. The sample below does too, because it was made before this fix was implemented.
I was working on another spinoff of this that was high-resolution rather than pixel, but since this font has the same LC and UC, I might transplant those glyphs to this font as well to make it as multifunctional as possible. That will more than double the work of making an already big font, though, so it will depend on whether this font gets used by others. A few game developers already use the original "Barcade Brawl" so there is a possibility...
