Taken from the story screens from Capcom's 1989 arcade brawler Final Fight. (Interestingly, this font can also be found in the tile set from the Street Fighter 2 arcade game). Accented letters are completely custom.
Recreaction of the in-game font from Koei's strategy games Nobunaga's Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. This includes a basic (but slightly incomplete) set of hiragana and katakana glypns. Aside from my usual inclusion of smart quotes and inverted ! and ?, this is a straight glyph dump.
A recreation of the font used in Midway's 'Arch Rivals', an arcade game originally released in 1989. It's actually the font taken from Miway's own 'Rampage' (1986), but expanded upon with a complete set of lowercase letters and additional punctuation.
This is a clone of RampageFor years I was seeking the font used by Channel 9's Wide World of Sports (Australia) from c.1980 up until 1992. I've expanded it to a full alphabet but not happy with characters with diagonals. And the W should be proper diagonals, but I can't get that right within FontStruct's constraints. Anyway, cricket fans, here you go... super effort, that. Use @9 to make your own Channel 9 logo.
Presenting Konami's Falsion, released in 1987.
Presenting Jaleco's Astyanax, released in 1989 for the Famicom, and 1990 for the NES. This font is similar to Totally Rad. Go check it out. Totally Rad was made by Patrick H. Lauke.
Presenting Takara's Transformers: Convoy No nazo / Mystery of Convoy, released in 1986. Transformers is a series of American science fiction action films based on the Transformers franchise, which began in the 1980s.
Presenting Activision and Pony's Super Pitfall, released in 1986 for the Family Computer, and 1987 for the NES This font is almost the same to Onyanko Town.
Presenting Bandai's Famicom Jump: Eiyuu Retsuden (aka Famicom Jump: Hero Retsuden (or in translated) Famicom Jumo: Heroes History), Released in 1988 for the Famicom (or 1989). The font includes a complete set of hiragana and katakana characters. And It's Similar to Dragonball 3: Gokuuden, Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu, Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu Kanketsu Hen, Devilman, Dragon Ball: Daimaou Fukkatsu and Dragon Ball: Shenlong no Nazo (or in Translated: Dragon Ball: Mystery of Shenlong).
