A fan request. This is Minecraft's in-game text font, truncated to fit into a smaller grid and then edited for consistency.
Feel free to use this for your fan games / mods / whatever! :D

Original size: 6pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Version 1.5: All permutations of E and F were refined and improved.

A modernized, rounded, and truncated version of Marengi. This is made to be a good text editor/chat font. It has very few kerning pairs, so it should render fine in any software.
Ascenders are only allowed to be as tall as the uppercase/numerals, while descenders are allowed to go 2px below the line. This creates a natural line spacing that is readable and not too dense. (Diacritics break this rule, of course... darn them...)
Gone are the curved descenders/termini on letters like gjty. The simpler geometry makes this design more suited to speedreading than its predecessor. In fact, altering those four letters alone improves speedreading on this font by up to 14%!

09JUN2019: I have been using this as my main IRC/chat font for some time now. Of all my chatfont designs, this has proven the easiest to read and use.

MIV: 8.31
Original size: 6pt (use multiples of this size for pixel perfection)
A variant of Radio Grave which took many hours to produce. I think the effort was worth it! This is a functional Multi-font and can produce a broad range of effects, especially when used at down near the original size.

Shading Rules:
1. Use the darkest tone on the outermost concentric region and get lighter as one progresses inward.
2. Let the 5x5 region surrounding the exact center of each glyph use the lightest tone, except when this would place the lightest tone into its neighboring region.
3. Glyphs with diagonals and glyphs which use a smaller than 5x5 drawing area may bend rule 2 for the sake of more consistent and/or interesting shading.

This is a clone of QuartzthroneSolid Quartzthrone. Somehow, this looks more "cartoonish" than the others.

This is a clone of Paradoxy EffectA banded version of Jungle High. Lots of brickswapping and manual adjustments were needed to make it!
This is a clone of Jungle HighA more patterned version of Jungle High. This will be used for the title screen text.
It also gives me a bit of a "casino" feeling with its diamond pattern and ornate appearance.

A greatly condensed Modron March.

Making this has given me an idea for an ASCII Roguelike tileset wherein lowercase letters represent juvenile creatures and uppercase letters represent adult ones.
This is a clone of Eyeball KidsAlternate plain version of Funkytown Throwdown. The spacing has been reworked for this one.
This is a clone of Funkytown ThrowdownThe final Laconica?
This idea emerged while making Laconica Skeleton, so I decided to carry it out. The design reminds me of blueprints and floor plans, thus the name.

An alternate take of Diamond Eyes with circles replacing the 2 smallest diamonds. No brickswapping used - many diamonds shared bricks so I had to place the circles by hand. This permutation introduces more texture, solidity, and complexity to the original. Hope ya like it!
This is a clone of Diamond EyesVerbossus in sans-serif!
This is a clone of VerbossusI took "Hypnoverse" and applied handwriting techniques to it. These figures are more like those I draw when I write with a pen, though still very distinct from my actual handwriting due to the low resolution.
This looks very natural to me, moreso than any other 4x5 design I've seen. It needs to be 2x original size or larger for the best effect, though, since its forms aren't nearly as open as the others. This may not be a problem for you... maybe I've just been staring at it too long...
At this point, I am confident that none of these glyphs can be improved further. The best they can do is change to suit someone else's preferences. Would you draw a particular glyph differently? If so, please show your ideas. I have gone over every 4x5 glyph several dozen times through as many designs, and think I have found the best solution for each - but maybe I'm wrong! I am especially interested in solutions for m and w; I have tried compressing and truncating them to be 4-wide before, but never successfully got anything that LOOKED like an m or w.
This is a clone of HypnoverseAn experimental take on Laconica with Celtic knotwork. I'm not sure how to balance it better than this... any ideas? I'll do all the glyphs once I have a complete set of solutions for them.
This is a clone of LaconicaAn alternate, more asymmetrical & stylized Madmouse.
This could be considered an avantgarde spurless or mixed-spur design. Some letters have spurs and some don't. This is entirely dependent on the diagonal lines, which were placed so that they would slant up and to the right. "s27" are obvious exceptions.
This is a clone of MadmouseA fusion of Junglira and Quartzthrone Harlequin. The result reminds me of railroad tracks, 35mm film, barberpoles, cactus heartwood, orb-weaver spider legs, and more!
Some symbols and diacritics are left untouched, either for legibility's sake or because they happened to fall on one of the non-shaded rows.
Structurally, this is Junglira, although I did round a lot of corners that were squared in the original.
