Another tribute to the great Dutch graphical designer/pioneer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
This time I didn't do a straight foreward recap of a specific work from the great man, but rather had myself inspired by a number of his sketches and combined those ideas all into this type! (Nonetheless ofcourse still heavily inspired by..)
Here are a few of the original works I drawn inspiration from:
"A.S.C. COMMUNICATIONS, SEMINOTICS, SIGNAGE SYSTEM PTT 1975 (Dutch Post Office) , BEURS VAN BERLAGE, UNREADABLE ALPHABET"
This is a clone of STF_JS-SANS SEVERE (MULTILINE)Letters based on the brand logo of CalpamSMD Olie B.V. a Dutch oil company.
Enjoy!

Na plešce ti vidím vešku,
zaklapni svou sprostou držku,
nebo spadneš na koleje.
Zpozdím tebou české dráhy,
spousta lidí se pobleje,
až zvážím tvé smrti váhy.
Na plešce ti vidím vešku,
koukám na ní pěkně zvršku.
Koukám tak i na tebe,
na všechny kolem sebe.
Clone of Dot24Pin Sans Outline.
Still dreaming of 24-pin printers...
This original 24×15 typeface is designed around the limitations presented by the near letter quality (NLQ) output of dot matrix printers (DMPs) during the '80s & '90s. Partially inspired by J. David Sapir's DOS font design program, LQMATRIX, it could have easily been created using that program back in the day.
(The "smart phone"-looking character in the À position is simply a placeholder, used as a quick reference to set vertical height lines while FontStructing.)
This is a clone of Dot24Pin Sans Outlinetorra: Minecraftian for: hard, sturdy, solid
A font that will not fall down for the forseeable future. Not particularly readable. Made for the HeavyComp. For Minecraftian letters i e a o p t k f s h m n l r ts ks, use: " | - = [ n ] < ^ > r 7 l j v u.
Version 1.5
*
3x3 slab serif. This is based on Wallerton, Anachronistic Gunslinger, an IRC-based "TV show" which I used to write and produce. All the characters in the show were my AIs pretending they were cowboys.
Well, I managed to successfully produce a lowercase for this one!
Recommended: Use with kerning.
