This typeface is based on the theme of disintegration. I tried to make it as relevant to that theme as possible but did have a variety of issues along the way. By simplifying the idea again and again I feel that the typeface is both relevant to the theme while also having potential to be used in editorial work. I originally tried basing my font on DIN Condensed in order to pick up speed, but it instantly felt that I wanted to create an original piece.
