An experimental design using 1/8 weight lines alongside 1/16 ones. The 1/8 lines are the smallest that can be accurately nudged. Centering them is still a problem at times, and I need a few impossible composites to perfect the glyphs ABEFHKQRXYijkx34789, but overall I'm quite fond of how this doodle turned out.

I think I could use some intensive compositing to get rid of the central dividing line in glyphs like A and H. I'll give it a try when I can.

@blu: Thanks!

It looks better with much more space between the letters IMHO.

That does create a novel look, to be sure.

I set the width of No-Break Space to be half that of the regular space, so you can easily achieve greater, but still small, increments of spacing when typesetting this. Just insert the nbsp between letters. Not practical for using this as e.g., a chatfont, but possible nonetheless.

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Dreamfall” is now a Top Pick.

Ah, thank you!

Recently I've considered fonts in a purely graphic design context. Hollow designs like this are easy to color in, while a solid equivalent would be nightmarishly difficult to precisely hollow out. I enjoy the dual purpose these hollow designs are able to serve.

I'm also now exclusively posting samples of fonts in use - images which are actually being used somewhere online and being seen by people outside FS. I still have a lot of old designs I haven't used for anything cool yet, so I haven't had any want or need to make new ones...
