what language is this intended to work with? I have tried English & Korean, & neither works.
Use 조합형 (U+1100~U+11FF) instead of 완성형. (I recommend using Character Map if you're ob Windows. I couldn't find any 조합-완성 converter unfortunately. Fontstruct doesn't support 완성형)
what language is this intended for? I've tried english and korean, & it doesn't show either of them.

You can convert Wansung to Johab by performing Unicode NFD.
Ah, so that’s how Korean typewriters print. It’d be cool to see if there’re Arabic typewriters, or Chinese! What are all the little double and single dashes for in your first sample?
@"Th3_C0n-Man" You mean something like this? Arabic Typewriters exist, not so sure about Chinese or Japanese Typewriters…
