My attempt at making a Unown font where all the letters are consistent in size. This is original pixel art made using a high-res reference. It's made to be a nice-looking design, not to be 100% accurate to the games. Upper case is fully kerned.

"We Dunno" is an anagram for "Unowned".

Original size: 6.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)

Recommended: Use with kerning turned ON!

I seen the unknowns, but I never thought of making a conscript from them!

There are a bunch that others have made here on the site. Search for the tag "Unown". Those others are more accurate to the games (at least to Pokémon GSC, which I checked).

A squared version of this with the angles/curves changed to 90° could look cool!

Very nice adaptation of the Unown family, keeping the style of the original shapes whilst making them a bit more readable. I love the addition of a complete ASCII set with punctuation and numbers. However, the number set feels a bit too standard and square to me; it seems to lack the charm of the alien-like shapes of the original charset. The punctuation is very well done though. Overall, a 9/10 from me!

Thanks!

I designed the numerals and other non-alphabetic characters to be different on purpose. These glyphs don't exist in the games so they aren't really Unowns.

After some time thinking on this, I have found what I hope is an acceptable compromise. The numerals now look more interesting to my eyes...
