Great bold font, though a bit hard to see on the preview window because of the funny patterns it makes. I especially like the E!

I just had a little more fun with this super fat slab serif. This is a work in progress. More glyphs to come.

@V. Sarela (Yautja): Thank you for your comment. The pattern in the preview window is an artifact of HTML5 rendering. I've made a demo to show the real appearance of the font, kerning included.

bold and beautiful. love the constrast between the heavy body and slim openings and tight spacing.

A great variation on an already beautiful font. That E is indeed wonderful. A lowercase-style e could make an interesting alternate character.

@four: Thank you for your comment. I heard you and made an alternate "e" as suggested.

Can you add Æ?

Comment by Brynda 3rd may 2017

@Brynda: There is a technical reason I couldn't add the æ glyph, yet. It's not that I've never tried; to the contrary. The results were underwhelming, however. The overshoot of both primary glyphs (a, e) makes it complicated. The original version of Esgaroth features an Æ glyph if that's any solace.

Can i see that attempt?

Lowercase variation of G, Q, R, and T.

Comment by Brynda 7th june 2017

@Brynda: The unsuccessful æ glyph candidates have been deleted. There ain't no use to keep them. LC variations of G, Q, R, T: I have no plans to add more lower case alternates. Unicase is a gimmick to attract attention by creating an unusual mix of lc and capital letters. As with any visual tricks, it should be subtle in order to be most effective.

What do you think about this new Y alternate?

Comment by Frodo7 8th june 2017

Wow!! That is a really nice alt.

Awesome, that's great. This is a really expressive slab with beautiful curves and clear proportions. 10/10 + ❤︎
