Copyright over fonts created with FontStruct belong to the creators, not to FontStruct.
Citing from our Terms of Use: “The FontStructions that are created and/or made available on this Site are the copyrighted work, as the case may be, of the respective creator.”
So, if you create an original font with FontStruct you can do whatever you want with it – use it on a commercial project. Sell it. It’s up to you. The license file you will find bundled with your FontStruct download does not apply to you. It only applies to other people. You are the licensor, not the licensee.
IMPORTANT EXCEPTION: If one of your designs is a clone or derived from a clone of someone else’s work, the license of the original must be respected. e.g. You cannot legally clone a design with a non-commercial license and then use your clone in a commercial project.
