I was able to figure out the problem, the File name ended in otf.zip.otf 

I just had to rename it to otf.zip and it worked.

My other suggestions:

• Increase the maximum file size from 1 megabyte to 2.5 megabytes

• Impose a limit to how many glyphs a FontStruction can have (65,535 glyphs) to ensure functionality

This font now has over 9,000 glyphs. While I was adding Shidinn, this font's glyph count passed the nine thousand glyph mark.
