This typeface has been created based on the theme 'Vibration'. I tried out a wide range of experimentation when it came to producing hand rendered work, as I felt I needed to work out what would best capture the general sense of the word. I tried using inks on elastic bands, attaching pens to a playstation controller and drawing, photographing food colouring over a speaker; all sorts. Finally, I decided I needed something which really reflected the word clearly. I looked at the white noise and the trails that you get on the television, and applied this feel to a sans serif font I had made based on Georgia (minus the Serifs) One of the most time comsuming things I've ever done, hope its been worth it. This is my first FontStruction while currently studying graphic design at Bristol UWE. Lots of experimentation solely using paints; quick hand movements and flicks to produce a messy, unrefined effect. Working in less than 1 second for each letter (with real paints), used as reference. This is my first fontstruction, based on the theme of 'sharp'. In early development stages I looked at brambles and attempted to create a typeface that seemed naturally pointed, as opposed to industrially sharp. Also took cues from modern death metal typography. Periculum. Rooted in the latin word for 'Dangerous.' This was an experiment in using FontStruct without filters. It reminded me of why I use filters 90% of the time. There aren't as many solutions possible. Periculum died after a bad copy and paste malfunction. The resurrection process was like walking on eggshells, but here it is. Lowercase was rushed a bit just to get it out there for Aphoria. The smoothness comes with the combination of preview scaling and anti-aliasing. It has to be scaled at just the right size to look convincing for on-screen purposes. This makes it more ideal for non-print related usage. 060415. Numbers 101815. Symbols added. This is my first humble attempt at something blackletterish. It's the third clone of the initial starting point which was based on another blackletter attempt I did some time ago... Seems like I'm not much of a blackletter natural.:) I'm not completely happy with this one neither, but just pumping it out because i don't currently find any motivation or creativity to improve it.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcome! Especially for the T, that one gives me the creeps... And yes, I know kerning can get quite messy and is best done by hand.

the DOT experience continues... It gives you an unexpected kind of FREEDOM creating lines with dots. This time i doubled the resolution by using 2x2 circles. Finally your eye can help making curves of any size look complete and entirely smooth! Oh my god... I see more possibilities now than ever before!! That's my handwriting. Scanned a piece of paper with a handwritten alphabet and redraw it as exactly as possible. Thought I might just also join the party of 2.0 curves. This is based on an attempt to come as close as possible to a perfect circle, trying to beat Gene in the competition for the most accurate circle before he pumps out another of his miracles...;) The "o" of this font is in that respect my entry to the competition. Just made it into a whole lowercase set for fun...

I suggest everyone who has his own circle for the competition somewhere in a font, tags it with "circle competition". Absolute accuracy shouldn't be the only criteria; if you manage to get an accurate circle on a small grid size, it should be rewarded as well. Mine has a 20 pixel stroke width and a 116 diameter, so I'm sure smaller solutions are also possible.

Due to its pretty large grid size this is getting dangerously close to the limits of the preview widget, so be patient when previewing it.
