By researching the meaning of chaos, I came across the chaos theory, which describes the movement of unpredictability. My font is based on a diagram that explains the movement of chaotic systems. The design of the typeface is based upon helvetica, a clearly legible font over which i added the circular movement seen from the diagram. My typeface has an element of fun and could be used to promote a relaxing product or experience by using a contrasting idea; chaos. It could also be used to promote electronic music; record labels, album covers, in particular rave or club nights. This typeface literally causes havoc with your systems; for a more usable, bolder version try Tangle.

This is my first FontStruction while currently studying graphic design at Bristol UWE. Lots of experimentation solely using paints; quick hand movements and flicks to produce a messy, unrefined effect. Working in less than 1 second for each letter (with real paints), used as reference. Inspired by East Asian calligraphy.

A TRUE HAND WRITTEN font.
No two letters are the same, or use any of the same brick configurations.
From my very own hand using an Edding 5.0 Calligraphy pen.
Only the upper case is available for now. Due to a heavy work load this week, and several non-starter comp entries, I've unfortunately been unable to fully complete the lowercase and numerals. :-(

Alternate Ligatures: (worth copying) ¬ = ct ` = st ~ = f (s) ^ = ft (st) # = fh (sh) AE, ae, fi, fl, f (s) and the long s are in their places within the More and Extended Latin sets (thanks to riccard0 for his advice on the last two).

This my recreation of my own handwriting fontstructed with a vertical line/stripe pattern (I know it's bad calligraphy, but don't tell Claude Dieterich I did it, please).
I used a fountain pen 1.1mm stroke to get my samples written down in order to have a basis.
My UC leans slightly to the left and my lc to the right; must be the graffiti influence from way back in the day. No wonder I only type nowadays...

the DOT experience continues... It gives you an unexpected kind of FREEDOM creating lines with dots. This time i doubled the resolution by using 2x2 circles. Finally your eye can help making curves of any size look complete and entirely smooth! Oh my god... I see more possibilities now than ever before!! That technique of "dotting", as i call it, will make my brain bust, i guess. :P May the force be with me!

iCollect.it®️ is a barcode (and text) version of the "Code 39 Barcode Specification" which can be read by most modern barcode scanners. I added lowercase characters for more readable labels even though they scan as uppercase. *Notes: Use an underscore instead of a space (as space characters are always blank in a fontstruct). Place an asterisk before and after your string for it to be recognised by barcode readers. Additionally, bracket pairs can be used for more stylish ends for labels etc: () [] <> See the examples. hey fellas. let me introduce my personal CROSSOVER of "arial" and "times new roman", two of the most famous fonts of western typefaces. nicely presented in a scetchy pencil drawn quickie style :) it's just lower case yet, but i wanted to share it. upper case, numerals and symbols to come. really :) this is especially tasty in small pixel sizes! thanks for attention! try it... *UNDER FONSTRUCTION*
