Aureate Tonal is the last in the Aureate family, i feel this design triumphs the previous typeface Aureate Shadow as the letters are even, balanced and easier on the eye. I feel as if this type meets my brief and shows my theme Decorative well, to me i can see the resemblance between this and carved type.

I feel this font by itself doesn't look decorative but I hope through out the family i am able to extend the detail making this font more decorative.

Whilst designing this type i was looking into carved stone writing and this is a modern alternative to the more traditional type commonly found on churches and other buildings
