Kitay means China. Idea was to find chinese characters that visually look similar to latin letters. Some who tried it used letters from existing fonts, or chose different characters.

I hope the final result is 乚幺厶工乃乚幺 enough ). Letters V,v though, still need to find a similar character...

Initially contemplating the concept of fluidity, looking at handwritten brush types, lead me to the idea of continuity and landed me with the category of 'continuous.' The central influence leading me to this final typeface was a Social Network diagram, where lines meet seemingly infinitely. The final product ended in a decorative, kinetic font with the use of negative space to create the emerging letters. With the typeface being difficult to read on first inspection, and the overall look of the font makes its uses limited, however I feel it could be successful in many event posters/leaflets etc.

Recreation of the small pixel font from Williams Electronics / Vid Kidz "Stargate" (aka "Stargate Defender", "Defender II", 1981). The horizontal arrows are those used in the arcade machine's settings screen. Only the characters present in the game have been included.

Cleaning up my private FS gallery I found this little gem, untouched for nearly three months now. I decided too release it as a simple 26-char now just because. What because? Because I'm coming back for a bit with some exciting fonts, including Newgate, a slab/sans family presently a work in progress. What else do you have to say? This font was based on the ridiculously minimalistic Imagine FB from 2012 (hard to believe, over two years on fs now!) but a whole lot better. You'll notice with my newer fonts I use the macaroni bricks a lot. I just want to. I'm also shifting from my minimalist designs to legible sans or serif fonts. Only now,this font just has a ridiculously long description... kthanxbai
