This typeface was based on the theme 'Messy'. I tried out a few experiment through sketches and rendering, trying to get as messy as I can and also at the same time challenge myself in creating something messy. I looked up on the word messy for different sort of meanings to it, and I also rendered down all sorts of images to get the right font to the theme. I did mini cut outs, played around with colours, tried using all sorts of lines and rendering. I finally came up with a way to portray the theme, using ink/ paint. We always encounter smudges and splatters in our work and it becomes a big mess.
