This one is based on kolam. kolam is an art of floor drawing, which is prevalent in South India. The lines are interesting to see. The lines form longer loops. With few loops interesting patterns can be formed. Sometimes a single line can compose a kolam. Decoration is not the sole purpose of kolam. Traditionally kolam is drawn with dry rice powder. I wanted to create a playful typeface which at the same time pushed Fontstruct to it's limits. This certainly succeeded in the second. I spent lots of time playing with wax crayons. Who says an artist has to grow up? Just heads up, this font is a bit of a system killer due to the size and complexity of the glyphs so be patient and gentle when using it.
