I love the idea behind this wonderful design! You certainly have been putting the thorn bricks to good use. I notice that the ends of C and G are square, while S and Z are rounded. Have you considered making them all round?

A minor observation: 'q' and 'g' are identical. I'd square off the bottoms of 'p' and 'q'.
